Notepad is a very useful and simple app. Creating a new note is very simple with the app shortcut and can be easily shared to other apps. In a way this does exactly what it should and get out of the way. In a way it's a text area with a share button. It's amazing already, but could be improved with two small changes. 1. Delete note after successful share, and 2. Add another button that shares the first line as title and the rest as the body. Thanks for a great app!

I had to get a new phone and the notepad app I had been using was no longer in the store. I decided on this one because it was one of the few basic free, ad-free, notepad apps that aren't out to collect all your data. For the most part I like the way it works, but a few nice to haves would be to show the date you last edited a note. Also put the note title in a separate field so you don't accidently delete it during editing.

I've used Notepad for years and love it. It's exactly what it says it is - a simple, bare-bones, notes app. I've transferred it to 3 different phones with no issues and love that I can export my notes. It's simple, quick, and easy to use. I'm assuming an AI voice feature may eventually be added to the app, which will be great for voice notes as long as it doesn't take away from the simplicity of the app. This is one of those apps where simple is better, and it's my go-to for all kinds of notes!
