Decent place to buy refurbished gear, but hard to find what you need. Awful search filters. When I try to find a laptop I cannot search for screen size, resolution, if it's touchscreen, has a backlit keyboard or specific type of processor or even operating system. fix your awful search options to make it worth shopping using the mobile app without getting a headache. And what's worse is that the descriptions when you click on an item are super vague sometimes as well. making you search.

The app itself is great, simple and intuitive to use. My issue is they host retailers that may not actually have the item you ordered. I ordered a laptop which was coming from music magpie, for five days the status was "preparing" , the promised delivery date passed, then the order was cancelled by music magpie. Backmarket offered 5% off my next order as means of apology, but there won't be a next order as I now have zero confidence that any item I order is actually in stock.

Don't trust them! My iPad lasted 4 months and then lost its charging capability. it seems they fix trade-ins just enough to work long enough to sell it to some sucker. my previous iPads lasted years. And absolutely horrible customer service, that's reason enough to not do business with these guys. Poor communication. they just sent my broken iPad bad with no information about how they didn't fix it. and good luck trying to contact support and a real person.
