A useful app, I use it every day. But if you need anyything account-related (login, add/change a payment method, manage settings etc) you get thrown into the wasteland of RMV website: tons and tons of text, trashy links, options that dont work, incomprehensible set up of menus, literally a trip back to the 00s. Come on RMV, get out of the stone age. edit: as of 10/2025 nothing has been fixed. App has now stopped working since several days & shows no routes. Logged out and now can't log back in.

It is a mixed bag. Buying tickets is simple and reliable, though I'd prefer to use Google Pay rather than PayPal. Platform information was inaccurate on the first occasion I needed it and meant I left half an hour late. Trains are generally reasonable value.

Terrible app! You can only register an account if you have a German phone number and address! I guess Frankfurt doesn't want visitors or tourists to be able to easily use public transport. Unless you are German, don't waste your time with this app (or their website!).
