I bought the Tom-gadget and one has to use this app for that. There are missing roads, unnecessary detours and it wanted me to go into a one-way street. It also doesn't show the lane when exiting the highway. and sometimes the blue line for you to follow disappears. There's also a lot less options in this app compared to the normal Tomtom app. I'm switching back to the normal Tomtom app even though it costs money because this app is totally unusable. I wish the gadget would work with regular app

Hi Marcel, sorry to hear about your experience. For the missing roads, please share the coordinates so we can verify. For detours and one-way streets, send the start/end points and the affected streets. Meanwhile, go to App Settings- General- Route Updates and select Manual. The blue route line (Route Tube) one is already under review. ^Jas

not particularly pleased with the recent changes from "amigo" to just "GPS". I'm missing the linking it to the car, but far worse is the fact that you are very late in updating the texts for the directions you want to go. e.g. when going in .nl from the A12 onto the A28 you tell us to follow roadsigns for "Groningen". they aren't there. The signs say "Hengelo" and other places. that isn't the only place where the app is effectively misdirecting the user.

This was just working on Android Auto, but it was very slow in drawing or redrawing the maps, following a route, directions, and speed cameras appearing, but after the last update. Tomtom will only load a map if near wifi or mobile signal. It fails completely if the phone is not in a wifi signal or using the phone data, or there is no phone signal. It fails to load an offline map or a GPS signal position. so the saved offline maps fails to load. All I get is a black screen and a error message.
